Generally, I agree. However, my experience has shown that being charismatic and knowing how to handle people and situations is actually more helpful than just looking good.

Having good looks is like a booster. Whatever you do, it makes it easier or increases the likelihood of success. But a booster only pushes you a bit further than your foundation allows.

Being charismatic is hella effective when it comes to dating. If you already have confidence and talking skills that put you in the top 20%, looking good on top of that is, without a doubt, "free game" at that point.
