I believe this too, but many say high LTN/B through low MTN/B is average. I’d rather just say MTN/B is exactly average.

i don't think this rating scale is based on averages, it's just a general scale. but the PSL scale is, for example 4 PSL will always be average

I mean standards change. Mtn will always be average. In 2025, I think a 6/10 white guy is probably mtn or high mtn? It doesn't automatically make him a chad if he is objectively 6/10. The "standards" should reflect its pool of data.
