16m Does djs fix malar lines, i have strong lines across my cheekbones presumably coz both jaws r recessed in comparison, or can Supra nasal implants get the same job done, alternatively can losing bf erase malar lines? Thanks. I am getting Marpe on Monday but don’t know if I should ask my ortho about djs after treatment either

NOT malar lines sorry, the crease that follows the bottom of my cheekbones, and the creases vertically parallel with my nose

Those vertical folds are caused by a lack of skeletal support. The marpe treatment you'll receive on Monday is the most appropriate approach because it will widen the upper jawline, providing internal support to these areas. Losing weight will worsen the situation, and fillers are only a temporary mask

I also have a hooked nose cause 0 rotation and recessed jaws, should I resort to a rhinoplasty or bimax. My parents are pretty supportive of me getting bimax as I do have sleep apnea to some extent, but fellers told me getting a bimax would make me look like a crocodile. What do u think

Even if nasal bone curvature and asymmetry bother you skeletal structure is always the priority

Advancing the jaw physically widens the airway this is the gold standart surgical solution for sleep apnea

Have you worked with your surgeon on a 3D simulation of what your post operative profile will look like? this is best for alleviating your friends anxieties
