There's only two reasons why employees don't do what you want them to do:
1- they don't know what you want them to do.
2- they don't know how to do it.
3- they are not motivated.

Thus, the leader should:
1- Communicate clearly our expectation to what they should do / accomplish.
2- Teaching / training them to do it.
3- motivating (or incentive) them (?). Possibly letting them rest for a human time.

Leader position = you have it or you dont

Comes naturally and if you struggle = you are playing beyond the extent of the cards you were dealt with

I don't struggle in beiing a leader and I think that your point of view creates mental prisons that don't exist and propagate self defeat

They are not motivated = they don’t get paid enough

That's a good way of dealing with it. But sometimes that's not the only way to do it

The thing is leader personality is really complex and include a lot of factors, yes we can summarize it very briefly and say leader personality is either born with, born with the potential to develop and obtain it, or not have it in short.

But even then there is other factors, even if you have the social qualities of a leader, you must have achievements that convince people of you, people in general (regardless of their qualities or social classes) tend to respect and serve those who are superior to them (since we're in a Lookism forum the closest thing is like Hypergamy? Idk it's kinda similar)

you can't become a teenager with a high school degree and goes to become the CEO of a major company without a rebellion from the employees, regardless of how much money you have, people simply deep down won't respect you because in their eyes you are less than them which means they'll disobey you most of the time, not take you seriously and the company will be in chaos&internally unstable

That's why all successful sport clubs hire managers and coaches who are known for their qualities and achievements, especially clubs with super star players, it's very common to have a group of star players disrespecting the coach, not sticking to his tactics etc.. because the said coach doesn't have a strong character or lacks trophys to his cabinet

you cannot become the president of a country without a degree (unless military coup dictatorship) no matter how eloquent or strong your speech is or how much you love the country, all of this is not important at the big stage, what matters is imposing yourself on those around you with both qualities and achievements.

Sometimes even a strong and confrontational personality isn't enough to control the room

Multiple presidents don't have a degree. One of them is Lula, the president of Brazil.

I think we build too many mental prisons that aren't really true
