Do people think like that because of school? Should i keep following a path even if i think i'm wrong ? How do you build your life?
sounds silly but i view it as like one of those long video games where you never really complete it but you log on every day and get slightly ahead.
you dont HAVE to know the career you want or an easy way to get rich, you just have to be progressing in SOME way. if youre 18, for example, you might as well get a credit card and start building your credit. you can do that easily by just paying it back on time. its pretty passive if you do it right. an example of mine is that despite not having every answer in my life, i know that i want to be financially stable. so, every time i get a paycheck or a large some of money, i just put 10-20% of it into my savings account. i have no plan for this savings or what to use it on, but its progress. its just knowing what you want and going for it. even if you dont end up with the perfect life, youll know you tried and went for everything you actually wanted, and i assume youd have less regrets. its even as simple as knowing you want to look good, so you practice good diet and hygiene.
a lot of people struggle with cognitive dissonance where they claim they want all these things in life but it appears that theyre doing the opposite. or they just have impulse control and just do whatever they want in the moment i struggle with this too. obviously if youre literally not able to do what you want due to outside reasons, its not your fault.
its not horrible or disappointing if you have absolutely no drive or idea of what you want to do, but it could greatly improve a person's life.
