You probably feel more secure about your body when you're in love so you can tend to eat more, more often, since a man is already loving you for who you are as a person

People in relationships tend to let themselves go, as being fit & skinny are tools to attract unconsciously your best option.

That's why you see people trying to hit the gym/losing weight, after their break-up/divorce and get the "revenge body". It's an unconscious reproduction mechanism.

Shouldn’t that do the opposite? If someone was attracted to you enough to “love” you, why would you want to alter yourself and risk them losing attraction and therefore falling out of “love”? If anything, it should just make you more insecure and determined to stay as you are.
