Agency is the most valuable trait you can have
Most will complain about their slave life, but given the chance to change it. They wont.
Being apart of something feels good, there is comfort in being told what to do. Part of the bigger picture, yet your individual life means nothing.
We just like an ant, but at least an ant is honest with its self, an ant doesn't complain.
Is this a bad thing? On an individual level yes, on a sociological level no. The world would collapse into anarchy if we didn't have slaves, people willing to settle for a subpar life give the ability for the 0.01% to act like gods.
Modern humanism has shut down this thought, but subconsciously every slave knows it to be true.
An 80iq man who refuses to conform to societies guidebook is better than the 140iq man who refuses to take action, finding comfort in thought, driven by ego but with no result to prove it.
Do our thoughts really matter if our actions do not reflect them, in what way is a philosopher different to a schizophrenic?
