Info Metadata removal from pictures

Read some thread recently that said location can be extracted through meta data in pictures, but iOS and I think some versions of Android skins have an option that asks you if you want to include meta data when uploading pictures to any website so you don’t have to do other complicated methods.
If you’re on PC I really don’t know then, never had to use one to upload a picture I have all of them on my phone.

On PC, I personally use metadata cleaner (I use arch BTW) on phone I use Aves libre, Both are FOSS
