uh well I learnt english ever since I was like 5 and now, I am 18 I am from India but have a normal accent not a really rough one, my "T" and "R" are soft, I grew up watching American and British Youtubers. So, my accent is now a weird mixture/combination of all of them and it's lwkey messed up whenever I try to fix accent/stick to one of them I give off british accent (maybe because I am trying too hard?) rather than a more subtle american one. I wanna target american accent because it seems easier to say and less awkward to pronounce.
It's hard to develop an american accent because my accent seems so close (maybe it's because I havent used it enough so it doesn't feel natural to me?) so it's hard to figure out what mistakes I am making. Whereas if I try british accent I can tell where I am making mistakes because it's further away from my natural accent.
