Hallmark of seeing the Anima/femininity as a weakness.
We respect tomboys for choosing to dress and present themselves in a masculine leaning way, but can't extend the same courtesy to femboys, hence femboys are used as an object of desire, but more commonly an insult.

Tomboy erasure.

Some preach inclusivity but then the moment someone female would like to dress in a masculine manner they are either accepted or instead told they must be secretly a man.
The same goes for their counterpart, in femboys. You'll often see them be the 'punching bag' of trans people, with jokes like the fact they must have gender dysphoria and "dont know it yet".

Once someone strays from the "traditional path" of their gender, they are immediately thought of as not being their actual gender all along. Especially by the people that'd consider themselves to be not bigoted
