Mom found out abt vitamins

She had a mental breakdown as usual despite I bought them with my own money. I also pay my dorminatory with my own money. She keeps on talking about the things she did for me, I told her 10000000 times I am grateful but those are my money. As long as I don t spend for harmful stuff or I don t go bankrupt, it is fine for me.
She yelled for like a hour at me and is still mad. She will transfer my money into her account and will pay the dorminatory.

I literally told her I bought vitamins...she was like...I thought you spent like £20 not like £100.

I don t get why is such a big deal. Not my fault I got bad genetics and she still adopted me.
It is my money which I get for my own efforts.

She thinks I spent them for something stupid.

She gets always stressed for nothing and I always fear she will k*ll herself or have a stroke or something. That is what scares me

i feel for you they still feel the responsibility to take care of you over time maybe start giving urself more freedom and over time they will also pull alway and let you do stuff like this and cook ur own food

The thing is thay say they want me to be independent but they act like that. I mean mom....dad just repeats what she says.

my parents do the same thing like i said just try to start doing small more independent things that’s what works for me

I'll bet she listed things 95% of parents do for their children. Even the bad ones. You don't owe her anything.

I can't stand people who go on about what they've done for you whenever you don't do what they want.
