Now if you're and uneducated swine you may ask me, what, or who, is Mordekaiser?
To put it simply Mordekaiser is a top lane, high damage, high survivability tank in the MOBA game League of Legends.
I'm a busy man so I'll get right into it.

Mordekaiser basic abilities consist of his Q, a weapon slam that does AOE damage using the following formula,
0 – 55 (based on level) (+ 80 / 115 / 150 / 185 / 220) (+ 120% bonus AD) (+ 70% AP)
His W, which stores damage done to him previously as shield, allowing you to release it on command giving you a set amount of shield that passively decays over 4 seconds.
This ability can be recasted to consume the remaining shield, replacing it with less health depending on ability level.(35 / 37.5/ 40 / 42.5/ 45%)
His E, is a simple grab that pulls enemies closer over ~250 units. It passively gives you magic penetration once first upgraded and does slight damage.
His ultimate, Realm of Death, brings Mordekaiser and one opponent of his choosing in his range into a battle arena seperate from all other players, it has a small radius and is unescapable unless Mordekaiser or the enemy dies, or the timer runs out (7 seconds)
While in the ultimate Mordekaiser steals the opponents power, reducing almost all of their stats by 10% and adding them to his total for the seven seconds. He also heals for 10% of their maximum health. Turrets will operate normally so be careful of popping ult in its range.
Mordekaisers passive, my favorite part of his kit, allows you to proc an AOE DOT ability after 3 hits on an enemy champion or large monster. The field does 5 (+ 30% AP) (+ 1% – 5% (based on level) of target's maximum health) per second and gives Morde a speed boost.

Now as you can tell, Mordekaiser is quite the simple character, he has low cooldowns, easy to hit abilities, high damage, and great survivability.
But he also has weaknesses.
Mordekaiser notable weaknesses include low mobility, easy to dodge skillshots, weakness against magic resist, anti shielding items, and cleansing his ult.
Most of these can be circumvented with skill or changing your build so I wont write much about it. If your enemy top laner builds MR, build magic pen.

A simple rune layout to play Morde would be something like this,
To start a round I would reccomend taking Dorans shield+healing pot against a ranged laner
Or a Dorans ring+healing pot against melee
For boots I'd reccomend Steelcaps against AD, or Mercenarys vs AP/High CC
To give you an idea of good builds ill place some screenshots of different builds against different oponents, feel free to use this in your games as they are def viable.
This is a standard build, good if your retarded or just trying to play it safe.
Here's an amazing snowball build, only use if your confident in your skills or already have a level or two above your enemy laner as its quite risky.

Unlock Q, E, and then W
And then max them out in that order again

Playing Morde is, as I've said before, quite simple.
His best combo is an easy E into Q for trading.
During laning use your short cool downs to your advantage to take space and stop the opponent from gaining their max CS.
An easy plan is to get to level three before the opponent so that you can use E+Q to get them low, proc your passive, and keep them in its range while continuing to attack. Keep in mind W when you get low or the opponent is about to use an ability.
In team fights try to ult a priority target, (low level ADS, strong supp etc.) so that your team can focus on the weaker people.

He stores 45% of post-mitigation damage(damage calculated after modifiers) in addition to 7.5% pre-mitigation damage as potential shield passively, up to 30% of his max health, the "potential" shield decreases by 8-25 shield(depending on level) per second out of combat.
