though im the least poser person ever, raised alt, for a very long time ive had a horrible crippling fear of being a poser, i avoided mainstream at all costs listening to the nichest bands and only using soundcloud
but recently ive been getting into more popular music
i feel as though since ive done my time avoiding the popular music ive reached a mainstream ascension where its not cringe for me to like popular stuff anymore
deftones for example, i liked them for years cuz my mom was obsessed and went to a bunch of theyre concerts, and theen they hit the cliche mainstream and i HATED them, ive been getting back into them to realise that theyre music is still insanely good weither or not you have a 5'10 jnco jeans guy in ur ear calling u a poser or not
