For me, sunlight is top tier! It gives the skin a nice golden glow, way better than the orange tint from vitamin A supplements.

Sunlight is crucial for so many reasons, especially for making vitamin D, which is key for proper bone development and height. If you've ever looked into photobiomodulation, you'd see how beneficial the sun can be. The red light helps with inflammation and boosts cell renewal, while the blue light can help prevent acne. The yellow light reduces freckles, desensitizes skin, inhibits pigmentation, and speeds up healing. There’s probably a ton more benefits we haven’t even discovered yet, our ancestors really thrived on sunlight!

But doesn’t sunlight age your skin?

This might sound a bit controversial, but after following a pristine(clean) diet for years, I can spend all day in the sun without getting burned. A lot of people in carnivore communities say the same. Our bodies are different from dead things that just get decayed in the sun. We actually benefit from hormetic stressors like sauna , hard workouts, cold therapy, fasting, why would sunlight be any different? I think many people are so inflamed and unhealthy that their skin struggles to heal from sun damage. Plus, seed oils seem to make our skin more vulnerable to that damage, while saturated fats can act like sunscreen from the inside out. They’re stable, don’t oxidize easily, and can handle higher temperatures, making them a superior fat in many ways.

I know this goes against a lot of mainstream ideas, but it’s worth considering different perspectives. It’s good to think outside the box!

I mean a natural whole food diet, in my case I eat just a few plants like olives and fermented veggies, but mostly raw dairy, fatty meats and bone broths, I have had great results on skin and mood that I think is also a good looksmaxxing trait, diet is another one highly underrated.

Too much sunlight exposure especially during the afternoon time might spike your estrogen.

Sunlight isn't the best source of vitamin D. You can meet your daily vitamin D requirement with high seafood consumption. But otherwise good thread, and welcome to the forum.

Thanks, some physicians recommend between 5.000 to 10.000ui of vitamin D per day, you have to eat 500g to 1000g fish a day to meet those requirements, nobody likes fish that much and have access to quality fish, most are poisoned with mercury and other toxins, I agree they are a great source, specially in the winter, but not available for everyone.
Ironically, people that are far north have access to quality fish, wild caught salmon, and they dont have sunlight strong enough to synthetize vitamin D naturally.
Sunlight doesnt has only vitamin D benefits, its just one of them, everyone should be getting at least 2 hours of sun exposure per day IMO, first and last 3 hours of the day are safer, less blue light and more of the other spectrum of light. I go for a walk everyday in the afternoon to socialize and getting my sunlight, also getting the morning sunlight helps to adjust our biological clock.
