Last summer, I rescued a tiny hedgehog I found lying in the grass. He was exhausted, dehydrated, and barely moved when I picked him up. I spent weeks feeding him keeping him warm and making sure he got stronger every day. Before long he became the highlight of my evenings.
I got so attached that I bought a little hedgehog plush that looked just like him.I carried it around everywhere because it reminded me of him whenever I wasn't checking on him.one day I even took the plush with me to the pool and.
When he was finally healthy enough, I let him go, believing it was the right thing to do. For a few nights he came back to eat, then one evening he just... stopped showing up.
I still check the garden sometimes, even though I know itss been a long time. The only thing I have left is that little hedgehog plush. Every time I see it I think about him and hope that wherever he is, he's safe
i hope you guys arent as emotional about this as i am
