I prefer when sub-saharan African women wear their natural hair.

First of all, many of the hair bundles used in those wigs come from exploitation of poor children to sell their hair in for example south east asia.

Second, its tacky. It only looks better than natural afro because u constantly compromise the health and beauty of the hair to wear stupid wigs. This is what healthy african hair can look like; unique, natural, earthly, and beautiful


Third, Its high maintenance and expensive. I dont know much about wigs, but lace front wigs can cost around 600$ and apparently only looks good on the first wear thereafter mid until they expire after a few months. I wont even mention sew-ins (lasts 1-2 months) because imagine wearing a super tight hat for 2 months that cant be healthy.


Fourth, Sub-saharan african women have probably the most options for different hairstyles/braids and hair is highly customisable. They have the best possible conditions for finding a style that they like and suits them, so why waste that and put on another races hair?

why do ppl always feel the need to mention their type in women/men whenever were talking about black people.

Just compliment the hairs n*****s no one will pull this message up later and ask you to prove the compliment by forcing u to date a black woman.

Idk much about the process of styling afro hair, but I also think alot african who live in the west have strange standards for how they expect their “styled afro” to look like.
I mean that they might see a “flaw” in their styling but rlly thats just how afros are supposed to look like.

Some people simply feel like they'd look and feel better with something different

I won't judge anyone for it if it makes them feel happier and prettier.
