I was joking around with my male coworker, to preface he's energetic, funny, etc just fun to talk to. also happens to be blonde. My one coworker goes "hear me out...black cat and golden retriever, he wants to play with the black cat hahaha" and the other coworker giggles. and I just give her the most weirded out look and say something like "black cat doesn't wanna play"

It was just so weird and cringe to me. I'm not a fanfic character. I'm not a "black cat" bro I just have dark hair. and I think calling any dude a golden retriever is really cringe. idk just doesn't sit right with me. and even if you think that why would you say it?!
