My Dad said he was proud of me

Okay for context I was in and out of 8th and 7th grade due to me being in the hospital a lot so I was kinda left behind when it came to school (except for reading/writing essays bc I'm the goat) so I started struggling with math like a LOT, I don't think I've passed a single math test since the beginning of this school year so obviously that has been taking a toll on me *I'm in 9th grade now*

So I was studying and doing practice tests and I ended up getting an 80% on it, idk why I was geeking out over it but when I told my Dad he said "Oh that's cool I'm proud of you ----"

HE SAID HE WAS PROUD OF ME this never happens btw so after I went back to my room I lowk got really emotional over it cus my Dad never says stuff like that to me
