well we had been trying to get more mods for reasons that seem obvious and were discussing on who would be good fits. however, it was hard for all of us to come to a consensus and agree on people.

huntergirl was made mod due to her past experience and people who vouched for her. despite what shes done, which admins nor i were aware of until afterwards, she had a very by-the-book style of moderation which can be useful. apparently when she was mod in the past, she was a good one. so it is better to choose her than somebody else if we all cant agree anyways.

I feel like the current situation draws a lot of parallels to when I was trying extremely hard to convince people that @Whitepill was not a person to be trusted, I told all of you that he would dox, that he would betray users' trust etc.

No one believed me and post my hiatus, I returned to him being banned after he went on a doxxing spree. Truly comedic but still, people need to be more careful. A person who is capable of doing such a heinous thing will honestly have a very high likelihood to repeat said mistake because the empathy/compassion required to stop themselves from doing such a heinous act in the first place was just never present.
