Hey guys, yesterday I did some DIY aqualyx injections for the first time and wanted to share with you guys my experience, what I’ve learnt and what I would do different now. (Excuse the broken English, it isn’t my first language).
First of all, I would like to say that I am not a professional nor do I take responsibility for anyone who is going to do it.
Things i recommend doing that I didn’t do but will do next time:
-Using an eyeliner or sharpie to mark the area where u are gonna inject (there are plenty of threads etc here where ppl show u where u should inject and where you should avoid).
^ this is really important because I was kinda free styling it injecting wherever and then forgetting where I did an injection and where I did not.
-Planning out the exact amount of aqualyx I am gonna do. Once again, I was free styling randomly injecting an amount that felt right
don’t do this.
^ what I recommend doing is buying a bunch of insulin needles it’s really comfortable to inject with one and it’s impossible to go in too deep) and just putting the same amount of aqualyx into every single one. For example, I did my double chin area and instead of free styling I would first put sharpie dots on my chin lets say I have 9 dots then I will have 1 syringe for every dot and let’s say I wanna do a total of 2ml, every dot on my chin will get 0.22mL of aqualyx.(2 divided by 9)
And yeah, that’s about it. I would say aqualyx is the easiest DIY injection you can do also I didn’t use any lidocaine (it helps with the pain). I would say the worst part of injecting the aqualyx is the burning feeling after it goes in. If you guys are scared to do it because of the pain, you should do it anyways the pain is only like a 6/10 and it only lasts around 5 seconds. Also if you are a beginner like me, don’t use the lidocaine because when you inject wrongly you will feel it and you want that. You don’t want to damage any nerves etc.
If you’re scared of damaging any nerves etc don’t be, I was scared too, but to damage a nerve you really have to be retarded and fuck up big time. Nerves are really deep inside and most needles don’t even reach that deep. Btw, your nerves aren’t made out of paper or whatever
don’t listen to chat GPT. It isn’t as easy as it looks to damage them.
^Take it from me, I was free styling the injections putting in random amounts and I am just fine. I have no side effects, I don’t think I am bloated at all and I am only a little sore.
Now you may ask why am I not bloated whereas everyone basically who does the injection bloats. I’m pretty sure it’s because I did my double chin and maybe only injected like 0.5ml of aqualyx in total into the cheeks. (I pussied out from doing my cheeks it hurt like a bitch).
I also did the stomach area, I have a video which I will attach I also free styled it and have no idea how all of this will turn out. I am 48 hours in, I am doing completely fine no side effects just a little sore under my chin. Stomach area definitely hurt more than my double chin. However, as I stated before it’s only a stingy feeling that lasts couple of seconds. I also have a few minor bruises on my stomach none on my face though.
Before doing the injections, I of course did some of my own research. I studied a bit of face anatomy (I will attach some images that helped me with my injections). I also watched some YT videos of professionals injecting others. I learnt from there, that it’s best to like grab the fat like pinch it and then inject. It’s best to keep like a 1mm distance from each injection. (Correct me if I’m wrong)
A friend told me to do this, and I will recommend it to everyone once you are inside the skin with your needle, push in some air first before injecting the aqualyx . If blood appears inside the syringe, reinject somewhere else. You’ve most likely hit a blood vessel. I’m pretty sure that that’s why I am not bruised and didn’t feel like passing out etc while injecting because I was probably far away from my nerves and blood vessels. Others stated in their threads that while injecting, they felt lightheaded or really dizzy I’m assuming that it might be because they triggered a blood vessel or something. But they’re fine so it’s okay!!!
Where I got my aqualyx from?
I got it from a site called estetik.pl I think it’s only Poland based so, if anyone needs any aqualyx you can reach out to me and DM me.
This is the amount of Aqualyx that I have left from doing my stomach and chin.
Also, I forgot to state earlier while injecting my chin area what helped me was like tilting my head back and making like a double chin so I could really see the fat and inject into the fattiest areas. So, if you’re planning on also injecting the fat under your chin, you should do that it removes all the pain from the needle going in and it makes it go in very smoothly.
Here are the images to what I found useful before injecting. Also, don’t hold the needle straight, hold it in like an angled position.
I think that’s all about it. As I stated before, I am not a professional and this is just my experience and things I will do next time. If this helped in whatever way lmk I can post more.
