today at my job, I work at a counter taking peoples orders. A girl who was fairly attractive and my age just about. Nothing crazy or anything but above average. She was about 5’5. She came up to me while she was waiting for her food with her friends, and said to me “I am going to come back next summer and get your number once you grow to an acceptable height” to me. that is what she said word by word (for refrence the area I live in is popular for tourists.) and I faked a smile and said “ok”
Once they left and the place cleared out, I told my coworker I had to use the bathroom, and cried for about 10 minutes. The word “acceptable” really stuck with me. It is so embarrassing in this world to be short. Like i truly feel that I don’t deserve to go outside and live life since I’m short.

but still , keep ur head up G , if you keep letting others put you down , they will keep doing so
set ur boundaries , man up , tell them if you dont like them making fun of your height
work on ur physique , learn boxing / judo , brazilian jujutsu , these will help you in self defence since at that height lotta people will think ur an easy target , these are must plus ur shorter stature would help you in these combat sports
ITS NOT UR PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES THAT DEFINE YOUR MASCULINITY , ITS YOUR WILL , PERSISTANCE , DETERMINATION
YOU NEED TO START RESPECTING YOURSELF FIRST IF YOU WANT OTHERS TO RESPECT YOU
and for that you need to become someone you can respect , which is a better version of your own self
