Yeah, that is kinda true on my part as well.

Virtual tokens of admiration are kinda "meh"

I would understand if users were fighting to win "youtuber of the month" or something, but to be fighting tooth and nail for MOTM in a dead looksmaxxing forum with a total of 12 active users with cliques that hate each other...is something else.

It's just investing, you'll never know if this site pops-off and there is like 500 active users.

Regardless though, it isn't like you are influencing much, most of the guest views on everybodys posts is just bots, pretty much confirmed by Randomized Shame, you aren't making any money, your life probably sucks now because you probably had to grind for that MOTM, rotting in your room, only socializing through text, and you are not gaining any fame outside of this forum besides maybe niche looksmaxxing discord servers and maybe being spotted on an off-hand tik tok.

It just seems so petty and sad.

(Edit: I know some peoples situations are bad, and they are lonely, and their only form of interaction is on here, that is fine, but my point is getting toxic over something that adds 0 value to your life.)

It is sad when you zoom-out a bit. But if you are an active user of this forum and enjoy it, I don't really see a fault if you wanna grind that.

Like with any useless achievements like games (where you know it's not going to be a source of income), you kinda just do it for the love of it.
