My main gripe with the new userbase

Most new users are mostly validation seeking, which is fine I guess. I won't lie, most people come here because they lack social integrity and I'm the first to admit I did seek for validation online (the whole edating thing is a shameful evidence of it).

However, there comes a point where people are blinded by superficiality. Blinded by the rep count, they'll glaze anyone giving them just the tiniest bit of reps just like @socio (no hate tho you seem aware). Now it's not about who has a strong personality, who's funny, who contributes with new ideas, it's all about the damn fucking reps. Literal addict maggots chasing their dopamine rush online, which is utterly pathetic.

If you fail to respond to that command, you get antagonized. Not because you're a boring user with nothing to say or propose but because you're not afraid of disliking a couple times because you think it's funny. It's all a way to fuel their fragile egos, if they're on the Maslow pyramid, they're only at safety needs.

Don't depend on other people for validation, don't be scum. Know yourself
