What's up brochachos, I don't know a whole lot about the looksmaxing community but I am really into fitness and am NASM certified, if anyone had general fitness questions I would love to help to the best of my ability cause I used to struggle with working out and health as well.

what’s the best muscles to train if want to have a wider frame and a smaller looking waist?

it sounds like you're looking for that sort of v taper, this sort of physique is also known as a classic physique, which focuses on proportion rather than pure size, I would recommend training for broader shoulders and trying to lose body fat, this will help you to get that waist size down and the shoulders will be that added width on your frame. The lateral deltoid (middle head of the shoulder) is primarily responsible for width, but if you want that 3D look like a superhero popping out of his shirt, I would recommend training all three heads of the deltoids, maybe throw in some traps too because big traps look dope even when in normal shirts.

Most importantly I wouldn't hyperfixate as the average person should train every muscle group because their overall physique needs improvement, but when training shoulders make sure to train with intensity and proper form so we make sure we're achieving hypertrophy.

Check out gympanzee on youtube, one of my favorite content creators because he breaks down fitness in a funny and simple way. I'll link his shoulder video below.
