If you want stuff that last, highly suggest getting into Japanese denim for jeans. Theres also this brand called Wonder Looper from Japan that makes great shirts. Get shirt tailored ofc.
But other than that yea everything else is preference like shoes or coat or accessories . Those are just top tier basics that’ll last a long time if you take care of it.
Leather jacket and wind breaker is a good starting basic

Uniqlo shirts aren’t bad. And Levi that are 100% cotton then
I’d always still recommend a tailor for shirt tho. It makes every outfit look so much better

dude gildan tees are 2 dollars, mogs hard, goodfellow and dealworthy are the best white tees
