Hey everyone,

Just joined the forum and wanted to introduce myself. I’ve been getting more interested in self-improvement lately—things like fitness, grooming, confidence, and just becoming a better version of myself overall. Still learning a lot, so I’m here to pick up tips and see what’s actually working for others.

Outside of that, I spend a lot of time on tech and gaming. Recently I’ve been revisiting older consoles like PS2 for nostalgia, and I came across some helpful resources while trying to set things up again. One site I found useful was https://ps2biosonline.com/ — it made things a bit easier to understand.

Would love to know how you guys balance hobbies like gaming with self-improvement. Do you think it helps you relax, or does it distract you from your goals?

Looking forward to learning from you all

wtf type of advice is this

I think gaming can be fine as long as it stays controlled. For me, hobbies are useful when they help you relax after doing the important things first, like fitness, studying, work, grooming, or building confidence.

The problem starts when gaming becomes the main escape and you keep delaying real life goals. So I’d say balance is the key. Use it as a reward, not as a replacement for progress.

Old consoles are great for nostalgia too, especially PS2. But self-improvement should stay the main priority if you really want to change your life.

Welcome! Sounds like you've got a good mix of interests. Self-improvement is all about staying consistent and learning what works for you site. Plenty of knowledgeable people here, so I'm sure you'll pick up some useful tips along the way.
