I'm on my second night working at a group home for people with traumatic brain injuries. My shift is from 11:00pm to 7:00am. All the residents are asleep. Its very boring. Not much to do but drink coffee and smoke cigarettes all night. It's pretty damn good for $18.70 an hour. Can wear any kind of attire you want and play on your phone or bring a laptop to watch movies with. Just can't fall asleep.
Got one other dude here working the night shift with me but him and I aren't the type to be getting on too well. Gen Z weedhead. If I weren't so new here I'd go ask him a bunch of personal questions or something for entertainment. I like having fun with people at work but people either really like me or they can't stand me. When you're new at a place you gotta keep from showing all your colors. At my other job I piss a lot of people off with my antics. It's 1:41am and I got about 6 hours to go.
