It's a good way to visualize your path! The real problem is that a large part of our generation has no dreams or goals, a large part only wants one thing: to get rich. But your method is still very good and efficient for visualizing a path to even a vague objective like this.

And about networking, I think it's as important as having a goal, no one can build an empire alone, we need contacts and good people to help us build it. However, we have to be careful not to infect our network with bad people, hang out with idiots, and they will make you one of them
