i think its because asians have the defected ABCC11 gene

The "no body odor gene" is the ABCC11 gene, and it's not specific to Asians. A specific variant of this gene, 538G>A, is more common in East Asians (80-95% prevalence). This variant is associated with drier earwax and a reduced ability to produce the characteristic compounds that lead to body odor in the armpits. While many East Asians have this variant, it's also present in other populations, albeit at lower frequencies
