yes, I will:

>use adblock either in my browser or even on my router
>block any form of interaction that could in any way help you make more money
>use scripts to circumvent all paywalls

If the internet is fucked today, one of the main reasons is definitely the monetization of everything that is done on it. they call it a “business model,” but they have usurped the place of those who really did it for love or as a hobby. it is the moral duty of everyone who misses how the internet used to be to sabotage these bastards in every way possible.

good thinking, unfortunately I do not care enough to do this, although I want to take your stance.
Youtube just detects adblocker for one example. Not being addicted to shortform content was my thing for the last 2 years but I slipped up recently.

Social media is literally to get you to buy products, I fell for it so many times

How do you fall for it? I usually never find any of their products interesting enough
They will message me with their advertisements and products if I follow them, so for example they will suggest this beauty product or service, some of it sounds interesting but then I feel silly for actually giving them money 😭

I think it depends in my opinion, if they actually provide something of value, which is very rare now with everyone trying to scam you with their skool courses, then I would pay.
