I saw an Instagram post about the Beatles and everyone was hating on them in the comments

Like this is how I know n*****s are just performative and lying when they wanna talk about music taste, I’m never listening to most people’s opinions about music again

I wouldn’t even call myself a massive fan of the Beatles but every time a song plays it makes me feel happy it’s so uplifting

Same way people say that "The Beatles are overrated" when they're undeniably one if not THE most influential and groundbreaking band who pioneered many experimental genres, revolutionized the way tracks are produced, pioneered sampling, diversified songwriting and changed music forever. Although in their early days they did copy a bit of Chuck Berry, since Revolver it's undeniable that their cultural and musical impact is just astronomical.

who tf is seinfeld
tv show, basically the og for all the 'funny sitcom' type shows. the seinfeld effect basically says that the first to do something probably isn't the best at it. the phrase "standing on the shoulders of giants?" this happens when those giants have been stood on so much that they're underground and don't seem as impressive.

if u were around in the 60's your mind probably would've been blown by the Beatles, but for 60+ years they've been the influence to basically everyone in music and have been improved on and shi, so they might be seen as 'boring.'

Exactly anyone you speak to about either the Beatles or the Rolling Stones or just music at the time generally will tell how it was literally insane to be around
