Humans don't work like that either. If I was not valued, I could have been swapped out for anybody else. I could have been removed entirely and it wouldn't make a difference. We humans want to be valued, at least by somebody.

just because people have many interactions doesnt mean they wont remember you . the brain isnt a limited slot system of memories its more associative when it comes to memory, thats why you'll remember random events and shit at random times.

this is minimization it s a common psychology topic and it basically means you downplay your effect on people and interactions because the result of it wasnt visible.
