Poll Nominate users for July's 2025 MotM.

Idk most mods aren't very active so it gives a chance to users who mightve gone under the radar otherwise I imagine

I sent @Incognito my feet so he votes for me but if im not in the polls than what’s the point
I did it to another mod too i forgot who though tbh

Normally throughout the month, mods would suggest usernames, then me or Dean would make a poll, and then the mods voted on the polls. People wanted us to add user's input to the poll nominations counting users are not able to directly vote into the polls. Users weren't happy with having zero involvement and felt like it was unfair and/or didn't fully represent the website.

But for the mods that aren’t very active they might get tricked by someone’s solution count or something is there a way to fix this problem where people can mark their own replies as solutions?

We don't take metrics into account, the only metric we take into account is activity metrics (did they make at least one post once a day for more days of the month than not, for example). The solution thing is not the biggest deal on .com, in the same the reputation points are not a big deal on here.

By posts do you mean threads or just normal posts? If you meant threads then im never winning motm

Just posts. (I mean we count threads too obviously.) Replies and profile comments technically count towards your activity metrics.
