Normies in my school know about BP

This might seem like water since BP is mainstream now but it’s still surprising to me. Two of my friends have came up to me and asked me if I watch BP. They make niche references like “better luck next time” or “Same haircut btw” or comment about my ascension over the summer. I was talking to a sub 5 friend of mine and my other friend said “brutal same haircut btw” I laughed and said stop it and he asked the sub 5 do you know what that means. Obviously the sub five was oblivious.
TLDR; normie friends make BP jokes irl and it shocks me.
