""Make the world beautifull" the one god said to the other, as everything that's beautiful is good, and thus the world would at last have a special trait that justifies its existence."

1.1 The issues of the current systems of measurements
The arts and sciences of looks have become a successful endeavour in modern times. My work on this topic is more than just offering a response to the chaos and subjectivity of looks, but also to offer a new lens to see the looks as a proper science

1.2 The prerequisites to a objective looks rating
First things first i need to establish that to have an accurate measurement of a person's face before you start doing any equations, you need an objectively balanced representation of your face, something that is lacking in the forum as of late, as to the reason of people not knowing how to take accurately objective photos, without the aid of frauding and other tools, would give thus a objective rating

1.2.1 understanding focal length and what causes misinterpretations
Lens theory is that the higher the focal length, the better you look, and the ideal focal length in most cases is 100mm, and the oposite can also be true, as the lower the focal length, the worse the subject looks, this theory also proves the phenomena that you can look better in some photos rather then others, and also teh phenomena that most people look better in photos then real life
The common focal length of phones is 24-26 mm, so if you want to use focal length frauding, it would be ideal to tweak your phone's zoom option to 4x or 5x. Be wary of tweaking this, as it can especially degrade your picture quality if you are on an older phone
The human eye, when looking at objects at a distance, can see around 22mm to 25 mm focal length, and when focusing on a near point, can see a minimum 18,5-22,7mm of focal length
Now, since your phone's main camera already replicates your eyes' focal length pretty well, it would be unnecessary to tweak your phone's zoom settings to fit a standard
So we know now the ideal objective photo of your face should be taken with 1x zoom on your phone, the front camera also has a similar focal length, but because it distorts your facial properties, it is irrelevant

1.2.2 How the ideal objective photo could be taken
The frontal | camera should be the rear main camera, without tweaking anything(the zoom level should be at 1x), be at eye level, a blank neutral expression should be given, all features should be visible(hairline included), a straight natural relaxed posture, as well as a white or more or less plain background to the subject, no post pic editing should be done, it WILL be called out and dealt with, keep in mind no upwards looking or downwards looking is allowed that would be frauding remember to always check your frontals before posting to make sure it fits the requirements
Tips to achieve the desired picture are to use a sort of tripod setup that meets right at your eyes

The side profile | this is always more complicated than the frontal because it requires some technicality, the golden standard of taking an objective side profile is the Frankfurt horizontal plane, setup is more or less the same as the first one, that you use a tripod, but the tripod should meet at your tragion-orbitale
A visual demonstration would be useful to see this in a better lens
Frankfort Horizontal Plane
Frankfurt Horizontal Plane - Beverly ...

This one, in my opinion, is unideal because the tragion-orbitale line isnt parallell to the ground

1.3 The 2 factors that determine your looks rating
Now that we established how to take an objective photo for a rating, we get to focus on the more chaotic side of looks theory, which is your looks rating itself. The looks rating could be chalked up to your PSL rating and then your appeal rating, both being different fields.

In the next thread i will expand on this part
