This is common, don't feel regret education has no age or time. You can always get back in it. I graduated uni at 27 sometimes life gets like that but as long as you continue it it's fine

I remember I failed my gcses, my dad would tell me education was women and that I should join his business. (mafioso) entirely not a business and so yeah king story short, he passed away and I felt like I wasted my time at 17 no grades nothing. some years later I remember being in college studying English and math gcse again and btec so I can get into uni. Gruelling 3 years very uneducated background but then I did make it while also working a job. All this to say I thought I was a lost cause and I would never have been able to be somebody but it wasn't true. I'm now working a genuine job with great prospects and doing many things on the side. Gcses really don't mean anything, many colleges will accept you, you're still so so young. You're more likely to get nuked by north Korea than you are to fail in life because of time.
