Can you send a side profile view as well? I'm very knowledgeable on this subject.
You have occlusal canting, and though theres no CT or full face pic, I would assume hemi-facial canting also.my whole face is crooked and my left side looks better for some reason
Just wondering, are you white?Just being chopped but its harder to breath through my nose cause its always plugged
Was making food, excuse my late response. It was partially because you’re not fully white though.yes im also part native american tho
I made a guide about malocclusion the other dayWas making food, excuse my late response. It was partially because you’re not fully white though.
An open bite generally stems from improper tooth positioning or rotation, preventing the upper and lower teeth from meshing properly. (this is true in your case)
Your case is caused by your teeth from the premolar (likely through to the 2nd molar) being rotated improperly in this way. This is called an anterior open bite. You also have significant tipping of your upper incisors which is contributing to the open bite. This was likely caused by poor myofunction/tongue thrusting. I cant see your full face so I cant tell but it appears as though it could actually even be a vertical skeletal growth issue, meaning your teeth would not come together even if your bite was proper.
You will need an ortho unless you are proficient enough to do it yourself like me, though your case is more severe than mine in the realm of the bite. There will be an exam with an X-ray to check, cephalometric X-rays to check jaw angles and vertical proportions, and likely a CT scan.
P.S stop being amerindian.
Gotchu but native americans usually have insane bones?? Im talking about the american ones. Also tell me how you fixed yours. When I was a child my friend accidently kicked me really hard in the face so maybe thats why my face lowkey crooked. Was making food, excuse my late response. Not finished yet. Im creating my own appliance with a Yin Yang wire setup + bite block, using a RPHG 14h/day pulling upward and forwards on the right side and down + forward on the left but lighter on the left side because my right side is more retruded. Ill likely be placing a TAD around the 6 month point and using a tension spring to finish the skeletal rotation, I will be within 2 degrees of asymmetry across all markers up from 3-7 ish degrees. I made a post on it the other day. Once skeletal asym is corrected I will be doing my own invisalign, and likely making small manipulations with brackets once my wisdom teeth erupt. Also tell me how you fixed yours
if you go to the orthodontist see what they can do for you but adamantly refuse teeth extractions. You’ll probably be fine as long as no teeth get taken outView attachment 166313
