Isn’t it short term raise? I mean even working out raises cortisol for a short period of timeraises cortisol if I'm not mistaken

To get healthier, better heart health, get better in running also, also for sports like footballWhat’s your goal?
maybe just try HIIT then tbhTo get healthier, better heart health, get better in running also, also for sports like football
Only for getting better in running and for football sprints are much better I thinkTo get healthier, better heart health, get better in running also, also for sports like football

Yeah I do HIIT and like sprints but should I also include long distance work? Isn’t it correlated with longevity, I know correlation studies are bs but stillOnly for getting better in running and for football sprints are much better I think
You can fuck up your legs in the long runYeah I do HIIT and like sprints but should I also include long distance work? Isn’t it correlated with longevity, I know correlation studies are bs but still

Every single study done on gym and its health benefits were done on people that are not optimally healthyYeah I do HIIT and like sprints but should I also include long distance work? Isn’t it correlated with longevity, I know correlation studies are bs but still
everything raises cortisol at this point you breathe and you raise cortisolraises cortisol if I'm not mistaken
spuffy what cardio would you recommend as an alternativePros:
• Improves heart health
• Improves endurance/stamina
• fat loss
• boosts endorphins ("runner’s high")
• leaner physique
• improved posture and muscle tone
Cons:
• joint strain
• muscle loss
• high mileage can lower testosterone or disrupt periods in women
• outdoor running can lead to early signs of aging ("runners face")
With proper preventative measures, you could avoid or lessen the cons. This exercise is eh, but i would do it only 3 times a week max along with weight lifting. Rowing machine (ergometer) MOGS
Personally, I would only do this exercise if I were training for something specific like for a sport or event. It's not the most optimal in my opinion.

incline tho rightwalking
I don't recommend it to a majority of people. @BlendedBlade's suggestion of cycling or StairMaster instead is pretty good.
For long sessions of cardio i always say the ROWING MACHINE if you do it right. It works out your entire body more than the stairmaster or any other cardio machine while still being very low impact.spuffy what cardio would you recommend as an alternative

The thing is, most people just don't use it correctly. A popular alternative is the stairmaster or the cycling machine I guess
Hold on is your name spuffy too?walking

i already smoked a cig, now this made me wanna go and smoke anotherYeah that's what I thought.
Incline weighted walking is superior, for weight loss, recovering & minimizing joints pain
