Nowadays. They shifted the perspective and made organs a underground unorthodox food in modern society. They're great and nowhere near today's modern slave food.

still cheap surprisingly, but super valuable nonetheless

liver's are the cleanest organs
In nature organs are the most valuable, hunter gatherers give the high ranking people in the tribe organs , the rest get blood and muscle meat mostly

Whitepill, that was disappointing. You have such a high regard to us of the community that such misconception were truly inappropriate.

You see, livers, as nutritional as they are, also contains a higher level of substances that it (the liver itself) is unable to correctly process. And our liver is unable to process it too.

Such is the case that frequent livers eaters accumulate more of those substances into their own body, till, eventually, increasing the numbers to a degree were a series of poor health conditions happen.

One of the most famous groups of substances that are passed down are the so called "heavy metals".

They are constantly detoxifying the body , their fat deposits are much more secure and ingrained in the body than the other ones. It depends on the quality as well, you should never eat super low quality organs

It is precisely because they are detoxifying the body of their own host that they accumulate more nutrients and toxins including the previously mentioned heavy metals that are not detoxified.
Eating liver frequently would be already a problem in previous non industrial societies, nowadays the level of those toxins has drastically increasing, thus proportionally to it's bad effects on the health of those who frequently eat it.

How does liver fuck up nutrient ratios if it's high quality and you don't over consume?

Not in french supermarkets tbh
Really? Canada's just as bad with the inflation as the rest of the world but regular store bought liver is like 4 bucks a kilo
