I thought you meant ethnically. That’s usually what people mean. There are some cultural overlaps, but there’s also differences, since we are Islamic. I also don’t recognize some of the cuisine they have.

Punjabis are genetically diverse, some are genetically closer to Iranic ethnic groups, others are genetically closer to Dravidian ethnic groups.

Indic is a linguistic term, but it doesn’t mean we are genetically related. But the first two ethnic groups you mentioned (Baloch, etc) are migrants into the region, they don’t count. They migrated from the Iranian plateau.

But again, they aren’t related to each other either.
