Okay so the thing is I did understand some centrist and right wing views, but during university if I wasn’t liberal it would be extremely difficult for me to make friends and so I had all my social media content towards that so I think most people are leftist anyway

i dont mean to be rude but i have seen a picture of you on here and i think the reason you believe most people are leftists is because thats who you attract
that is not true at all leftists are only so extreme online in person most people are centrist

100% I know someone who is pro Russia and he said why are you listening to mainstream media, I said where else would I go?? We never really spoke about our political views as I support Ukraine but I don’t know what he listens to

Just the usual, BBC news, Al Jazeera etc. My insta has 3,000+ people I follow and it’s all from mainly leftist news with the exception of a few accounts

I actually can’t remember a time where I was happy on social media scrolling through constant news that is upsetting but I feel bad if I take a break from it because I’m not being aware of things

thats fair but you shouldnt use social media as your main source of news anyway
you can use social media for friends and funny videos and whatever just making sure you also spend time looking at news from official websites and tv channels is important

Yeah that’s true, there’s so much misinformation out there and I think people would be happier if they stopped going on social media for a while
