People can't rate others of the same gender properly

What I have noticed is that people of the same gender cannot rate eacu other accordingly.
I as a man literally when I see anyone I think that they look pretty good,even though they don't,even if their somewhat overweight.
And the same goes for girls,they call basic girls pretty and most likely above average,just like guys.
