It’s literally just calories. Calories in calories out. You don’t even need a crazy diet to lose weight, the problem with sugary foods is they contain other additives and it’s easy to overconsume

There has been numerous experiments where a placebo and a group cut out about 60% of sugar from their normal diet and consumed the about the same amount of calories (diversified based on person because not everyone is the same) and they both had the same results including the bloodwork

It pains me to see so many people hop on GLP-1 drugs when they don’t need it and it does so much more harm than doing it naturally. Not to mention the cost as well

I mean it came back like after a week. It was during wrestling season right after Christmas break. We did conditioning the whole day and just ran around a room and sprinted for 3 hours

No, not true. Certain biomolecules have a signficantly higher thermic effect, meaning that a large portion of the calories used to digest them are burned.




Protein ~20–30%
Carbohydrates ~5–10%
Fat ~0–3%
Alcohol ~10–20%


If one eats a diet very high in fat and carbohyrdates, they will gain weight at a higher rate.


(There are numerous other counter examples, but this is just a very simple one i could point out)

Yes thats very true. Sugary foods also tend to be very high in fats and carbs which was also shown in the study (dont ask me for the source I low-key forgot where I saw it 🥀)

It’s easier to eat a lot of carbs and fats because you don’t feel as full as you would with protein so it’s easy to overconsume.
