It’s literally just calories. Calories in calories out. You don’t even need a crazy diet to lose weight, the problem with sugary foods is they contain other additives and it’s easy to overconsume
There has been numerous experiments where a placebo and a group cut out about 60% of sugar from their normal diet and consumed the about the same amount of calories (diversified based on person because not everyone is the same) and they both had the same results including the bloodwork
It pains me to see so many people hop on GLP-1 drugs when they don’t need it and it does so much more harm than doing it naturally. Not to mention the cost as well
