I understand if its a small dog, but medium to larger size depending on the breed is unjust.

Even if nothing physically happens to the animals, ive witnessed my cat always getting scared when the dogs are outside the door, not being able to make noise or the dogs come running, getting stuck in rooms or on top of things for hours because of the dogs blocking the way through.

And many times there have been fights where the cat couldnt get away. Luckily she is a good fighter and only the dogs ended up hurt, but its really a matter of time.

I just think its unfair.

i thought dogs n cats fight

If your dogs actually well trained it's fine

But there has been times where a poorly trained dog has tried fighting my cat and I had to intervein
I just think an “averagely” trained dog is not enough. I agree if its a dog with extensive training.

The 2 american pitbulls in my home are trained well and wouldnt hurt anyone, but them just always waddling around in large and loud ways, barking, etc is enough to scare the kitty and make her growl. That disturbs the dogs who start barking and it all escalates. Most of the times i think the dogs are probably just playing with the kitty, but it doesnt look like that from her pov.

dogs are superior in every way.

they often bark, purring is estrogenic.

Dogs are men and cats are women.

Dogs stronger and more forgiving, but erratic and unsophisticated.

Cats are smaller and more individualistic, but more gentle and maternal.

massive generalisation.

but quite fair for other reasons.

Idk if it's irrational but I have been refusing to get a dog cause I am scared it would beat up my small kitty
