Maybe just be mindful of what u choose bc cheap meats can be fatty in the wrong ways. Maybe if ur saving get chicken and tuna in water/brine, the tin is 50g protein easy. Cheap meats can be possible if u know what ur doing. Beef Liver is also cheap and good

beef liver once-2x a week to much vitamin overdose otherwise tuna is good I heard and chcken if not over procced can be a good source of lean meat

Vitamin overdose is a myth I used to eat it everyday as a teen. And yeah chicken is leaner than most cheap meats . Liver is pretty damn cheap out of the lot
