Although somewhat subjective. Apart from extremely niche circles you will always be viewed badly for overt piercings as a male. As for classy/stylish tattoos, they can indeed make you look cooler.

Piercings are gay as hell (besides earrings perhaps), tattoos are cool to an extent, but only on like the arms and body (no face tats that's ugly as fuck)

tats mog too def getting some once I take my physique to the next level.
