Is Marpe better or Le Fort I osteotomy, the thing is the orthodontist nerfed me and made me get 4 teeth removed and braces, my maxilla was already recessed but now it’s worse and I have a stupid ass vertical maxilla. Now I want to know which one is better, because I have a crooked jaw because of these stupid fucking orthodontist and my teeth aren’t aligned and don’t all sit ontop of eachother, and I have a recessed ass gummy smile, so I was wondering if maybe I should get Le Fort I osteotomy. But also my jaw is just small to begin with so should I get Marpe to widen my maxilla? Like is Marpe more aesthetically pleasing?

Ty for ur feedback though, I will ask my mom about it. But do you think I will be allowed? Like do u have to fall under a certain requirement to get it done or can anyone request it that has verticals maxilla?

i think you mean narrow maxilla, just go to a surgeon and see what’s up with your maxilla and let them determine what suits you

however this surgery costs a lot of money so definitely talk about it with your parents first
