with all the recent improvements to the site, hopefully he re considers this tbh. Or at least a badge requirement or something to reply to ratings threads. We got ppl rating mmtn-hmtns MHTN rn

Too complex ngl.
It requries users to not only have access to post their own rates, but also mediate access to the verified raters.

This is where Discord / PMs is the only way that works.

Although, if users could only see and mutate their own threads but verified* posters could navigate freely... nah that's still extremely complex from access control side.

Not really. VIP lounge = all people with VIP badge
Ratings section = regular people who want rates (if that's what you're saying) + verified raters

And the verified raters must have a level of forum vision equivalent to moderators / admins in this specific subsection so regular people asking for rates can't see each others rates (if that's what you're talking about)

the community is small enough that i can think of a few people who should have the badge off rip

as for "earning" it, maybe those who have the badge can suggest members and mods can also suggest members as well

I mean you can always ask someone for their tiers or what they think ideal ratios are, but it would take a while

Also not everyone has their own formula as most just use someone else’s

A vouch system like a secondary rep system then. If you are rating externally then the forum shouldn’t decide who’s a good rater and who isn’t. If it was a badge the rates should be more trusted in the regular ratings sub forum
