I would say my eye area and jaw bones are good but my face looks flabby and weak. I believe that masseter growth is what is missing for my face. I've read online about mastic gum chewing but I don't even know where to begin. I've seen a guy at my gym chewing gum and his masseters were popping like crazy but when I clench my jaw I don't see any defintion. I'm at about 15-20% bodyfat I suppose but i care about my facial witdh since i have a long-ish face.

I suppose more masseter hypertrophy would lead to a more hollow cheek look if bodyfat is lowered?

If you guys could drop a protocol or something you tried and found success with, I'd appreciate.

I also do lots of neck training so I won't look disproportionate if I start chewing consistently.

Lower your body fat to 15% or under if you're a guy, but some specific gum made for chewing or just get the hardest and chewiest gun you can find. Try to chew on both sides evenly and don't overdo it to not cause tmj issues.

Those gums are useless since there are only limited motor units in the jaw area which are maxed out by chewing your daily meals
Basically the muscle can’t be trained more
Unless u get all ur calories in through blended and swallow it all the gum is useless

Are you talking about the guns made for chewing or the commercial ones ?

Both but mostly like the mastic gum
I’m saying chewing extra amounts in hopes of growing muscles in jawlines is useless since the muscles can’t recruit more motor units to grow since they are maxed out from eating meals
Why do u think fat people don’t have a lot of muscle despite eating a lot
It’s cuz we’re biologically made to not waste excess energy when we don’t need it since string has muscle doesn’t benefit us from an evolution view

You can make the argument that repeated exposure of a muscle can enhance it's growth just like how fat people have larger calf muscles on average despite not training them to failure, or how swimmers have wide shoulders and big lats. There is such a thing as Nucleus Overload you can google it. This might work with masseter muscles but I can't say for sure since I haven't experimented with chewing yet.
